Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which rose 3.26% or 105 points to trade at 3329 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.11% or 350 points to end at 16940 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 1.43% or 260 points to 18500 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 5.01% or 204 points to trade at 3868 in late trade. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 0.96% or 7.2 points to end at 745.8 and Nice (TA:NICE) shed 0.95% or 240 points to 24900.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 190 to 156 and 98 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.63% or 0.31 to $48.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.40% or 0.20 to hit $49.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.82% or 34.25 to trade at $1246.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.44% to 3.8469, while EUR/ILS rose 1.57% to 4.3729.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.74% at 93.90.
