Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.63% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 3.63% or 2270 points to trade at 64840 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 3.46% or 2250 points to end at 67200 and Avner L (TA:AVNRp) was up 2.82% or 6.2 points to 226.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Poalim (TA:POLI), which lost 0.47% or 9 points to trade at 1916 in late trade. Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) declined 0.46% or 0.3 points to end at 64.5 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) shed 0.27% or 12 points to 4418.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 244 to 83 and 126 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 5.06% or 1.75 to $36.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 5.04% or 1.87 to hit $38.94 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1259.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.9095, while EUR/ILS rose 0.93% to 4.3035.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 97.25.
