Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Public Services, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.54%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which rose 17.18% or 560.0 points to trade at 3820.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 4.37% or 125.0 points to end at 2985.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 3.72% or 330.0 points to 9200.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 4.41% or 230.0 points to trade at 4980.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.19% or 260.0 points to end at 21520.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was down 1.03% or 160.0 points to 15500.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Isagen SA (CN:ISG) rose to all time highs; up 17.18% or 560.0 to 3820.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.48% or 0.55 to $114.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.52% or 15.00 to hit $2879.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.70% or 7.60 to trade at $1092.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.21% to 3288.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.52% to 818.69.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 98.95.
