Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 0.64% or 15.0 points to trade at 2370.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.73% or 260.0 points to end at 35980.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.22% or 80.0 points to 37080.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Promigas (CN:PMG), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to trade at 7710.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 3.14% or 95.0 points to end at 2930.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 2.96% or 800.0 points to 26200.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 11 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.30% or 0.33 to $112.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.08% or 52.00 to hit $2451.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.99% or 12.30 to trade at $1254.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.85% to 2906.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.50% to 745.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 94.31.
