Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.19% or 420.0 points to trade at 35620.0 at the close. Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) added 1.00% or 360.0 points to end at 36540.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.84% or 200.0 points to 24000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.60% or 0.3 points to trade at 18.4 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.44% or 15.0 points to end at 1025.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 0.85% or 10.0 points to 1160.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.42% or 0.67 to $158.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.19% or 4.50 to hit $2424.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.69% or 8.45 to trade at $1208.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.76% to 3182.00, while BRL/COP rose 2.85% to 940.59.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 101.35.
