Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Auto & components and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which rose 4.29% or 1.46 points to trade at 35.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.56% or 1.26 points to end at 36.64 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 3.43% or 1.4 points to 40.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which fell 4.91% or 3.55 points to trade at 68.70 at the close. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) declined 4.59% or 0.07 points to end at 1.46 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.42% or 0.40 points to 16.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 70 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.97% or 0.45 to $46.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.34% or 0.67 to hit $48.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.59% or 6.70 to trade at $1134.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 9.3480, while USD/NOK fell 0.08% to 8.4792.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 96.90.
