Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Telecoms and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 5.51% or 1.96 points to trade at 37.56 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 1.84% or 1.00 points to end at 55.40 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.81% or 2.60 points to 146.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 1.44% or 0.11 points to trade at 7.54 in late trade. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 1.20% or 0.70 points to end at 57.45 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 0.90% or 0.22 points to 24.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 86 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.35% or 0.19 to $53.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.54% or 0.30 to hit $56.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1239.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.10% to 8.8496, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 8.3339.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.85.
