Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.63% or 45.0 points to trade at 2800.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.38% or 20.0 points to end at 1470.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 1.22% or 0.3 points to 24.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 2.17% or 30.0 points to trade at 1350.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 1.60% or 300.0 points to end at 18400.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 0.59% or 160.0 points to 26980.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.90% or 1.12 to $123.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.60% or 34.00 to hit $2086.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.93 to trade at $1277.97 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.84% to 2975.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.60% to 916.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 93.83.
