Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo), which rose 2.70% or 19.5 points to trade at 742.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.62% or 8.8 points to end at 344.2 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 2.03% or 0.58 points to 29.19 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 4.56% or 7.8 points to trade at 163.3 at the close. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) declined 4.48% or 2.5 points to end at 53.4 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was down 4.35% or 1.63 points to 35.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 73 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.97% or 0.45 to $46.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $50.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.55% or 6.50 to trade at $1181.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.06% to 9.2129, while USD/NOK rose 0.17% to 8.1037.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 94.67.
