Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 0.75% or 50.0 points to trade at 6750.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 0.46% or 80.0 points to end at 17500.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.42% or 40.0 points to 9510.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 2.87% or 190.0 points to trade at 6420.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 2.36% or 340.0 points to end at 14040.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 1.82% or 0.3 points to 16.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.85% or 3.55 to $120.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.84% or 59.00 to hit $3144.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.91% or 10.70 to trade at $1166.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.68% to 2957.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.23% to 750.28.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.07.
