Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.37% or 60.0 points to trade at 16380.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 0.36% or 40.0 points to end at 11260.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 0.12% or 5.0 points to 4095.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 2.71% or 740.0 points to trade at 26560.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 2.67% or 0.5 points to end at 18.2 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) shed 2.12% or 40.0 points to 1850.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 6 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.45% or 0.55 to $123.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.40% or 12.50 to hit $3167.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.71% or 8.75 to trade at $1238.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.64% to 2967.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.31% to 836.10.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 94.78.
