Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 9.05% or 10.1 points to trade at 121.7 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 7.02% or 520 points to end at 7930 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 6.31% or 460 points to 7745 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which fell 1.93% or 8.1 points to trade at 411.3 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.70% or 0.49 points to end at 28.36 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.47% or 11.5 points to 771.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 53 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.70% or 0.49 to 28.36.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 10.30% or 2.70 to $28.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 8.75% or 2.63 to hit $32.69 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.87% or 10.80 to trade at $1237.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 6.6422, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4642.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 96.07.
