Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 5.52% or 85.0 points to trade at 1625.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.74% or 360.0 points to end at 21000.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 1.45% or 25.0 points to 1725.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 4.62% or 120.0 points to trade at 2480.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 3.02% or 340.0 points to end at 10920.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 1.81% or 0.3 points to 16.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.62% or 120.0 to 2480.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 5.38% or 6.25 to $122.33 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.77% or 26.00 to hit $3385.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.22% or 13.00 to trade at $1081.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 3104.30, while BRL/COP rose 1.35% to 835.03.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 99.05.
