Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 0.96% or 280.0 points to trade at 29300.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.82% or 120.0 points to end at 14820.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.73% or 100.0 points to 13840.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 1.65% or 180.0 points to trade at 10720.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) declined 1.20% or 15.0 points to end at 1230.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 0.78% or 10.0 points to 1265.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.11% or 0.17 to $148.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.50% or 14.00 to hit $2827.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.69% or 9.15 to trade at $1316.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.76% to 2929.19, while BRL/COP rose 0.47% to 887.12.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 95.30.
