Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.70% or 150.0 points to trade at 8980.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.52% or 5.0 points to end at 975.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.25% or 80.0 points to 32680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.63% or 40.0 points to trade at 2420.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.18% or 140.0 points to end at 11740.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.09% or 15.0 points to 1355.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 5 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.67% or 0.85 to $127.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.73% or 35.00 to hit $2062.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.48 to trade at $1267.92 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.57% to 2932.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.15% to 883.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 97.13.
