Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Trade, Property and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP), which rose 29.55% or 39 points to trade at 171 at the close. Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) added 16.91% or 46 points to end at 318 and Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA) was up 16.84% or 32 points to 222 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA), which lost 10.00% or 350 points to trade at 3150 in late trade. Atlas Resources Tbk (JK:ARII) declined 10.00% or 50 points to end at 450 and Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) shed 10.00% or 8 points to 72.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 197 to 102 and 111 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.44% or 0.23 to $53.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.65% or 0.36 to hit $56.05 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.51% or 5.95 to trade at $1159.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13307.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.16% to 9970.05.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 101.12.
