Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.93% or 28.0 points to trade at 1482.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.60% or 5.7 points to end at 361.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.00% or 120 points to 12090 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.41% or 20.0 points to trade at 810.5 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.61% or 1.0 points to end at 163.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) 0.00% or 0.0 points to 525.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 42 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.37% or 0.18 to $48.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.31% or 0.16 to hit $51.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.17% or 26.05 to trade at $1226.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.9298, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4344.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 100.26.
