Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 3.46% or 1000.0 points to trade at 29900.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.07% or 340.0 points to end at 32140.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.40% or 0.1 points to 25.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 5.59% or 1700.0 points to trade at 28700.0 in late trade. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) declined 3.03% or 60.0 points to end at 1920.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 2.86% or 360.0 points to 12220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.33% or 1.78 to $131.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 12.00 to hit $2036.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 6.83 to trade at $1236.83 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.52% to 2880.87, while BRL/COP fell 0.06% to 930.31.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.78% at 98.04.
