Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 3.78% or 316 points to trade at 8666 at the close. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) added 2.94% or 710 points to end at 24900 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.59% or 35 points to 2240 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 1.33% or 150 points to trade at 11150 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 1.21% or 17 points to end at 1393 and Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) shed 1.08% or 200.0 points to 18400.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 276 to 124 and 12 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.55% or 1.16 to $44.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.66% or 1.28 to hit $46.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 11.32 to trade at $1211.98 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.34% to 3.5404, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.0360.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 95.78.
