Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.96% or 180.0 points to trade at 9380.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.49% or 45.0 points to end at 3070.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.42% or 340.0 points to 24220.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.54% or 6.0 points to trade at 384.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.10% or 360.0 points to end at 32300.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 0.98% or 140.0 points to 14120.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.93% or 1.11 to $120.58 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.25% or 6.50 to hit $2609.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 14.60 to trade at $1304.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.15% to 2863.33, while BRL/COP rose 0.62% to 786.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 93.70.
