Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 0.88% or 120.0 points to trade at 13800.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.85% or 10.0 points to end at 1180.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.62% or 20.0 points to 3240.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 4.34% or 290.0 points to trade at 6390.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 6.30% or 37.0 points to end at 550.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 4.75% or 105.0 points to 2105.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.25% or 0.25 to $101.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 19.50 to hit $2340.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 11.20 to trade at $1192.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.86% to 2988.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.67% to 725.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 95.55.
