Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.02% or 90.0 points to trade at 8950.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.98% or 160.0 points to end at 16440.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.87% or 120.0 points to 13920.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.42% or 75.0 points to trade at 3020.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 2.19% or 9.0 points to end at 402.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.96% or 19.0 points to 949.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.83% or 2.25 to $120.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.52% or 70.00 to hit $2847.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1314.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.27% to 2815.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.93% to 792.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 92.62.
