Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 1.15% or 15.0 points to trade at 1320.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 0.38% or 5.0 points to end at 1325.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.31% or 60.0 points to 19560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 1.72% or 170.0 points to trade at 9710.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.25% or 7.0 points to end at 553.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 0.79% or 320.0 points to 40120.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.66% or 3.40 to $131.32 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.32% or 6.00 to hit $1910.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.09 to trade at $1296.09 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.25% to 2923.75, while BRL/COP fell 1.49% to 926.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 92.49.
