Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.61% or 540.0 points to trade at 34000.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.83% or 8.0 points to end at 968.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.42% or 40.0 points to 9490.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 6.11% or 1220.0 points to trade at 18740.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 2.55% or 250.0 points to end at 9560.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 2.37% or 340.0 points to 13980.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.05% or 1.31 to $122.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.20% or 62.50 to hit $2777.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.40 to trade at $1315.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.79% to 2835.81, while BRL/COP fell 0.67% to 804.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 92.45.
