Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.50% or 80.0 points to trade at 16180.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 0.42% or 5.0 points to end at 1195.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.23% or 40.0 points to 17100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.43% or 27.0 points to trade at 761.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.99% or 170.0 points to end at 8370.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 1.91% or 180.0 points to 9220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 5 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.31 to $111.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.22% or 5.50 to hit $2481.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1247.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.38% to 2882.55, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 742.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 94.55.
