Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.82% or 29.0 points to trade at 1058.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 2.61% or 11.2 points to end at 440.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.94% or 7.0 points to 368.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.11% or 7.5 points to trade at 668.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.95% or 3.0 points to end at 312.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 0.87% or 3.1 points to 351.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 49 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.18% or 0.11 to $60.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.55% or 0.37 to hit $66.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.00 to trade at $1313.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.1779, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4442.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 91.60.
