Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pelayaran Nasional Bina Buana Raya (JK:BBRM), which rose 34.00% or 17 points to trade at 67 at the close. Darma Henwa Tbk (JK:DEWA) added 30.00% or 15 points to end at 65 and Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) was up 21.28% or 40.00 points to 228.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF), which lost 20.00% or 86 points to trade at 344 in late trade. Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) declined 18.96% or 400.00 points to end at 1710.00 and Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) shed 14.19% or 110 points to 665.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 205 to 157 and 124 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.20% or 0.74 to $61.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.04% or 0.68 to hit $64.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1331.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.33% to 13614.8, while AUD/IDR fell 0.26% to 10705.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 89.74.
