Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Trade, Miscellaneous Industry and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (JK:ASRM), which rose 24.69% or 300 points to trade at 1515 at the close. Meanwhile, Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI) added 12.07% or 495 points to end at 4595 and Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) was up 11.98% or 20 points to 187 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wahana Pronatural (JK:WAPO), which fell 20.24% or 17 points to trade at 84 at the close. Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT) declined 18.65% or 58.00 points to end at 253.00 and Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) was down 13.79% or 40.00 points to 250.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 179 to 131 and 44 ended unchanged.
Shares in Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (JK:ASRM) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 24.69% or 300 to 1515. Shares in Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 18.65% or 58.00 to 253.00. Shares in Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) fell to all time lows; down 13.79% or 40.00 to 250.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.51% or 0.24 to $47.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.53% or 0.28 to hit $53.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1096.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.56% to 13462.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.59% to 9819.10.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 96.69.
