Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 1.19% or 74 points to trade at 6304 at the close. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) added 0.96% or 410 points to end at 43250 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 0.73% or 17 points to 2341 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which lost 2.78% or 520 points to trade at 18210 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 2.00% or 16 points to end at 792 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) shed 1.45% or 810 points to 55000.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 202 to 184 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.45% or 0.27 to $60.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $67.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1412.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.5539, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 3.9975.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.697.
