Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 2.19% or 1.7 points to trade at 79.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.87% or 280 points to end at 15260 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.62% or 100 points to 6290 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Poalim (TA:POLI), which fell 2.82% or 61 points to trade at 2099 at the close. Discount (TA:DSCT) declined 2.69% or 20.5 points to end at 742.2 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was down 2.64% or 44 points to 1624.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 114 and 115 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.81% or 0.41 to $50.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.46% or 0.27 to hit $56.77 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.03% or 11.40 to trade at $1092.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.66% to 3.8203, while EUR/ILS rose 0.25% to 4.1620.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 97.76.
