Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.61% or 4.5 points to trade at 284.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.43% or 160 points to end at 11380 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.20% or 140 points to 11840 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 3.21% or 14.1 points to trade at 425.4 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.57% or 9.0 points to end at 565.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 1.55% or 3.7 points to 235.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.03% or 0.53 to $52.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.69% or 0.38 to hit $55.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 13.45 to trade at $1266.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 7.0093, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.87.
