Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which rose 10.53% or 0.70 points to trade at 7.35 at the close. Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 7.59% or 0.60 points to end at 8.50 and Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) was up 6.81% or 0.65 points to 10.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007), which lost 2.74% or 1.00 points to trade at 35.50 in late trade. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) declined 2.69% or 1.15 points to end at 41.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 2.68% or 0.42 points to 15.28.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 85 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.15% or 0.57 to $50.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.57% or 0.83 to hit $53.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 11.31 to trade at $1290.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.4025, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.44.
