Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 9.97% or 1.90 points to trade at 20.96 at the close. Savola Group (SE:2050) added 5.90% or 1.75 points to end at 31.40 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 5.29% or 4.50 points to 89.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211), which lost 9.55% or 4.75 points to trade at 45.00 in late trade. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) declined 4.29% or 0.90 points to end at 20.10 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) shed 3.97% or 1.25 points to 30.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 71 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.38% or 0.22 to $58.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.56% or 0.38 to hit $67.85 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1284.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.1982, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.623.
