Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.67% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010), which rose 9.96% or 4.80 points to trade at 53.00 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.91% or 1.10 points to end at 12.20 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 9.64% or 0.95 points to 10.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which lost 5.35% or 0.85 points to trade at 15.05 in late trade. Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) declined 2.70% or 3.00 points to end at 108.25 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) shed 2.47% or 0.70 points to 27.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 152 to 6 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.29% or 0.12 to $41.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.61% or 0.26 to hit $43.17 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.38% or 17.00 to trade at $1252.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.2621, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 94.08.
