Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 10.00% or 18.40 points to trade at 202.40 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 9.94% or 2.07 points to end at 22.90 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) was up 3.30% or 3.89 points to 121.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 9.97% or 2.06 points to trade at 18.60 in late trade. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 8.54% or 1.84 points to end at 19.70 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) shed 8.49% or 3.26 points to 35.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 119 to 62 and 4 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $61.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.85% or 0.55 to hit $64.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.60 to trade at $1349.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.83% to 4.6519, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7483.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 89.03.
