Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Building & Construction and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 3.08% or 0.61 points to trade at 20.40 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) added 2.71% or 1.30 points to end at 49.25 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) was up 2.47% or 0.44 points to 18.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200), which lost 3.38% or 0.30 points to trade at 8.58 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.02% or 0.210 points to end at 6.750 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) shed 2.69% or 2.94 points to 106.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 64 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.28% or 0.17 to $61.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.16% or 0.11 to hit $67.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1319.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 4.4898, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 92.06.
