Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Insurance and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 2.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 10.48% or 2.20 points to trade at 23.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 10.06% or 1.65 points to end at 18.05 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 9.61% or 5.50 points to 62.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which fell 1.13% or 0.30 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 0.97% or 1.00 points to end at 102.00 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was down 0.77% or 1.00 points to 129.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 159 to 7.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.56% or 0.23 to $41.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.55% or 0.24 to hit $44.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1077.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.86% to 3.9918, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.58% at 99.65.
