Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 2.68% or 3.60 points to trade at 137.80 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs) added 2.14% or 3.2 points to end at 152.9 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.06% or 0.62 points to 58.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 1.49% or 0.54 points to trade at 35.73 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 0.95% or 2.3 points to end at 239.4 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) shed 0.50% or 1.4 points to 281.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 369 to 319 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.39% or 0.75 to $53.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.21% or 0.68 to hit $55.74 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1256.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 9.5719, while USD/SEK fell 0.52% to 9.0174.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 100.93.
