At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell 1.65%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also declined. The TSX Venture dropped 1.27%, while the Smallcap fell by 1.73%.

- Oceana Gold (TSX:OGC): Rose 3.09% or 0.105 points to 3.505
- Lundin Gold Inc (TSX:LUG): Increased 2.44% or 0.58 points to 24.32

- Bausch Health (TSX:BHC): Declined 8.38% or 0.71 points to 7.76
- Shopify (TSX:SHOP) Inc: Fell 8.17% or 6.29 points to 74.05
- Parex Resources (TSX:PXT): Dropped 7.38% or 1.45 points to 17.06
In Commodities Trading:
- Crude Oil for September delivery declined 2.51 points to 73.80 a barrel.
- October Brent Oil Contract fell by 2.74% or 2.18 points to 77.34 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery rose 36.50 points to 2,517.30 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD has declined slightly from 1.3888 to 1.3842.
- EUR/CAD is holding over 1.50.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.14% at 103.022.
