At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.43%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also increased. The TSX Venture rose 0.20%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.69%.
Primo Water (TSX:PRMW): Rose 3.95% or 1.17 points to 30.76.
SSR Mining (TSX:SSRM): Climbed 2.60% or 0.17 points to 6.72.
Pan American (TSX:PAAS) Silver NQ: Increased 2.6% or 0.76 points to 26.41.
Alimentation Couche Tard (TSX:ATD): Fell 1.81% or 1.35 points to 73.08.
Magna Intl (TSX:MG): Dropped 1.53% or 0.86 points to 55.32.
TFI Intl (TSX:TFII): Declined 1.41% or 2.79 points to 195.02.
In Commodities Trading:
November Brent Oil Contract climbed by 0.44% or 0.32 points to 74.39 a barrel.
Crude Oil for October delivery increased 0.27 points to 69.47 a barrel.
Gold Futures for December delivery rose 18.60 points to 2,544.60 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
USD/CAD is trying to stay over 1.35.
EUR/CAD is testing 1.50, at 1.4998 at the time of writing.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 101.035.
