At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index dropped 0.43%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also up. The TSX Venture rose 0.74%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.98%.
- Energy Fuels Inc (TSX:EFR): Increased 3.83% or 0.380 points to 10.290.
- Denison Mines (TSX:DML): Rose 3.09% or 0.10 points to 3.34.
- Lightspeed Commerce (TSX:LSPD): Climbed 2.20% or 0.57 points to 26.51.
- Brookfield Renewable (TSX:BEP_u): Declined 1.26% or 0.46 points to 36.17.
- Storage Vault (TSX:SVI): Dropped 1.09% or 0.05 points to 4.07.
- BlackBerry (TSX:BB): Fell 0.67% or 0.03 points to 3.69.
In Commodities Trading:
- February Brent Oil Contract climbed by 0.49% or 0.36 points to 73.14 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for January delivery rose 0.85 points to 69.57 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for February delivery increased 14.54 points to 2,679.34 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4019.
- EUR/CAD is trading at 1.4794.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 105.997.
