At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.59%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also increased. The TSX Venture rose 0.70%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.64%.
- Fortuna Mining (TSX:FVI): Rose 3.24% or 0.21 points to 6.70.
- Celestica Inc (TSX:CLS): Increased 3.03% or 2.55 points to 86.75.
- NFI Group (TSX:NFI): Climbed 3.05% or 0.52 points to 17.59.
- Aritzia (TSX:ATZ): Declined 5.20% or 2.60 points to 47.42.
- Toronto Dominion Bank (TSX:TD): Dropped 1.49% or 1.21 points to 80.54.
- Tilray (TSX:TLRY): Fell 1.37% or 0.03 points to 2.16.
In Commodities Trading:
- December Brent Oil Contract dropped by 0.89% or 0.71 points to 78.69 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for November delivery fell 0.68 points to 75.17 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery climbed 28.15 points to 2,667.45 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable 1.37.
- EUR/CAD is at 1.50.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 102.702.
