EV charging and energy management solutions company, Wallbox NV (NYSE:WBX) announced Wednesday that they have partnered with Free2move eSolutions to promote the adoption of electric vehicles in North America.

Free2move is a joint venture with Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) created to design innovative technologies to lead the transition to electric mobility by offering charging solutions and services.

Through the announced partnership, Free2move eSolutions and Wallbox will support Stellantis dealerships in Canada with their electrification efforts. They will offer the Supernova 180, a fast-charger capable of speeds up to 180kW, and Free2move will provide Wallbox's AC Level 2 charger, the Pulsar Plus, to their dealership network across North America.

“We are thrilled to partner with Free2move eSolutions, and combine both companies' know-how to transform the charging experience for EV owners across North America,” said Wallbox CEO, Enric Asuncion.

Supernova is Wallbox's DC fast-charger. The newest iteration, Supernova 180, is tailored for the North American market and offers charging speeds of up to 180 kW, enabling it to add 100 miles of range in less than 10 minutes.

This partnership will also have a crucial role in efficiently distributing Level 2 chargers through Stellantis' dealership network, making it easier and more convenient for their customers to charge their vehicles at home throughout North America.

Shares of WBX are up 3.98% in afternoon trading on Wednesday.
