Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Osem (TA:OSEM), which rose 2.52% or 190 points to trade at 7723 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) added 1.94% or 1120 points to end at 58940 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.78% or 65 points to 3719 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which fell 2.74% or 2740 points to trade at 97360 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 2.46% or 52 points to end at 2062 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 1.73% or 290 points to 16510.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 161 to 154 and 132 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.82% or 0.38 to $46.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.02% or 0.51 to hit $49.05 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.66% or 7.50 to trade at $1133.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.8748, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 4.2738.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 96.83.
