Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.12% or 4.5 points to trade at 148.9 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.87% or 15.00 points to end at 538.50 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 2.70% or 2.20 points to 83.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which added 0.22% or 0.5 points to trade at 222.9 in late trade. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 0.34% or 0.31 points to end at 90.81 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) gained 0.38% or 0.11 points to 29.42.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 399 to 164 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.18% or 0.09 to $48.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $48.77 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.32% or 4.05 to trade at $1250.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 9.3389, while USD/SEK fell 0.30% to 8.3314.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 95.41.
