The investment seeks to provide long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in a broadly diversified portfolio of common stocks of mid-cap growth companies. The Management expects the earnings of these companies to grow at a faster rate than the average company. The Management defines mid-cap companies as those whose market capitalization falls within the range of either the S&P MidCap 400 Index or the Russell Midcap Growth Index.

Rowe Price Group, Inc. Mr. Easley has been in the investment industry since 1999 and has been with T. Rowe Price since 2000. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, he was a credit analyst with The Bank of New York. Mr. Easley earned a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. |
