Canadian Markets: What to watch in the Week Ahead

Investing.com -- The week ahead will be a short one on the TSX, with the Canadian stock exchange closed on Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday.Investors will have plenty to expect on the economic front this week, with markets likely to be volatile ahead of the release of the Fed’s minutes from its previous meetings on Wednesday, as well as US CPI figures this Thursday.
The week will include little economic data domestically, except Canadian manufacturing sales, wholesale trade, and existing home sales all due Friday.
The only major TSX earnings expected this week are from Aritzia, whereas in the US we’ll be expecting results from big banks, including JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), Citigroup (NYSE:C), and Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC).
