Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Cakra Mineral Tbk (JK:CKRA), which rose 33.82% or 23 points to trade at 91 at the close. Steady Safe TBK PT (JK:SAFE) added 24.12% or 82 points to end at 422 and Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JK:JAWA) was up 22.11% or 42 points to 232 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST), which lost 20.23% or 445 points to trade at 1755 in late trade. Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) declined 15.79% or 90 points to end at 480 and Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW) shed 15.69% or 16 points to 86.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 156 to 155 and 124 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.51% or 0.23 to $45.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.61% or 0.29 to hit $47.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.56 to trade at $1221.66 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.12% to 13338.5, while AUD/IDR rose 1.67% to 10391.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 95.51.
