Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which rose 8.67% or 355.0 points to trade at 4450.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 0.72% or 280.0 points to end at 39280.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.37% or 100.0 points to 27100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.58% or 250.0 points to trade at 9450.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.43% or 35.0 points to end at 2410.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.42% or 20.0 points to 1390.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.87% or 2.80 to $146.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.56% or 79.00 to hit $3003.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.65 to trade at $1332.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 2921.40, while BRL/COP fell 0.14% to 896.74.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.55% at 97.09.
