Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 3.48% or 330.0 points to trade at 9800.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.23% or 15.0 points to end at 1235.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.20% or 30.0 points to 2535.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which lost 1.23% or 160.0 points to trade at 12820.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 0.95% or 4.0 points to end at 416.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.81% or 8.0 points to 980.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.54% or 0.64 to $118.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.26% or 6.50 to hit $2524.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.20 to trade at $1313.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.30% to 2855.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 870.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 90.21.
